“I can't remember what year, month, or day it was when I first fell in love with the art of photographing flowers. I only know that when it hit me, the love was all encompassing. My passion for this work has brought me to spending long concentrations of time studying the intricacies, simplicities, and complexities of the flower. I have discovered that each flower has its own unique personality, and I try to capture the beauty that I see while looking through the lens in each photograph. I have had the fortune of being able to discover and become inspired by Masters of the Art: Irving Penn, whose flower work is absolutely breathtaking, photographer Harold Feinstein, and of course Christopher Beane, whose work has perhaps been the greatest inspiration.
